In 2009, I asked seven Munich residents with a German and non-German background to remember their first encounter with the cultural other. In 2019 I wrote down these stories and had them printed on a stamp. I commissioned brochures in the format of a German passport and thus staged a small cosmos of stories. This format resonates with a whole spectrum of possible associations: nationality, identity, border, migration, expulsion, integration, assimilation and categorization.
