Fire Water

For this art-in-architecture project, I proposed a 2:1 scale replica of an overturned hydrant as the main actor on a forecourt paved with pavement slabs. At irregular intervals a fountain of water was to shoot up from the bottom outlet of the sculpture - whereby the supposed flooding was to flow in regulated paths through invisible wind guards and hidden drainage points at the upper edge of the fountain area.
