Name Me - Ein Porträt als Dialog anhand des Namenssystems der Kelabit

This paper is the German version of the article published in the Journal of Visual Art Practice. It describes the Portrait as Dialogue project Name Me, which focuses on the naming and name-changing of the Kelabit, an indigenous population group in the highlands of the island of Borneo. In this context, their naming system and that of their neighbours, the Penan (formerly practiced), is presented.
