In an animated sequence of images, two self-portraits - one with open eyes, one with closed eyes - are projected onto a layer of fog on the ground. The layer of fog alternately builds up and is destroyed again.

Through my artistic reflection of the , which shows a projected photographic self-portrait nebulized in intervals, alternating between open and closed eyes, I would like to draw attention to the idea that our experience of the world depends on conscious and unconscious impressions.
