Competition design, unzealized

Fifteen four meter high shuttlecocks made of sheet steel are scattered across the field between the terraces of the new building of the BND and the adjacent Pankepark. The positioning of the sculptures extends and mixes the area between the surveillance agency and public space. It playfully opens the BND building to the outside by crossing borders. The visible signs of an apparent campaign allow all associations between attack and defense, a friendly match  and a fight.  Encroachments can always be seen as both, a threat as well as an innovation.
